Advisors

Hardware: Which is responsible for building the plane and installing all components such as electrical, motors, and control mechanisms

Software: Which is responsible for controlling the aircraft when it’s in flight, as well as interpreting sensor data such as cameras, GPS, etc.

Research and Development: Which aims to create unique and experimental approaches to the SUAS mission set. This includes more challenging plane designs such as flying wings.

As a member, you can be involved in any number of these sub-teams, and you don’t need to have specific experience in that subject area to get involved. In essence, software team members could do hardware tasks and vice versa.
